For those of you who know me from Soulcrates may recognize this playlist. This was my favorite period in music, where big bands and electronic sounds collided and formed what I like to refer to as Park Jams. I was a youngster who would go to the parks just to hear the DJ’s cut up these records, extending the break-beats and creating something new & fresh. This was the precursor to Hip Hop.
